MEDIATION IN FAMILY LAW

Mediation in family law is meant to avoid the time and expense of the traditional court process by reaching a marital settlement agreement. At The Law Office of Natalie Gregg, our certified mediators work hard to ensure your voice is heard.

Although mediation might not feel as official as traditional litigation, any written agreements produced via meditation are legally binding and enforceable. The process is quite simple, once the Mediated Settlement Agreement is signed by the couple, the mediator will send it to the judge where it becomes legally binding.

Couples that choose mediation, as an alternative to litigation, may be more satisfied with the result which can be achieved with less complexity, uncertainty, and cost.

At The Law Office of Natalie Gregg we encourage families to go with the process that works best for their situation, while prioritizing children if involved. Contact our office today to discuss mediation and whether it is a good fit for you.
